Installation

Once the order has been placed, we will arrange a mutually convenient time to do the work. Usually, we are able to supply the equipment within a matter of days, although items like plasma lifts, motorised blinds and bespoke cabinets will take longer.

Where cabling is to be undertaken at ‘first fix’, as part of a building programme, we work closely with the builder and other trades to ensure that our wiring is installed in accordance with specific site and finish requirements. 

Specifically, we liaise closely with the electrical contractor to ensure that appropriate power supply is available at points where TVs and ‘hub’ equipment are due to be installed.  We also advise on TV/FM and satellite cabling requirements so that the final provision meets the needs of the client and the system they have chosen.

Equipment installation time depends on the size of the system.  A simple home cinema system (plasma / LCD TV screen, 5.1 surround-sound amplifier, DVD player, 5 speakers + sub-woofer system) will usually take 1-2 days.  Larger contracts, involving a multi-room audio-visual distribution system, take longer dependent on their complexity and the amount of programming involved.
